Follow-up
We accept referrals from primary care providers/GPs, medical specialists, psychologists and other allied health professionals, education facilities or directly from families.
PRIMARY CARE + SPECIALISTS
You can contact us through Specialist Referrals, Healthlink or directly.
Please ensure patient’s email and phone number has been included in the referral.
Please note we are a private community paediatric practice, and while we do reserve spaces for urgent cases, we are not an urgent care provider and alternate pathways should be continued. If patient’s needs change you are welcome to send additional referrals with updated clinical information.
Please provide your patient with a copy of their referral for insurance purposes.
ALLIED HEALTH AND EDUCATION
Please note: Some insurance companies expect a GP referral to accompany any claims.
We welcome referrals from Allied Health professionals. You can contact us directly.
DIRECT REFERRALS
We understand that accessing GP’s is not easy for all, thus we welcome self referrals. We aim to refer patients back to their primary care provider for follow up where appropriate.
Please ensure you have a copy of your GP referral.
Some insurance companies will ask you for this.
Urgent Appointments
We are a private community paediatric practice, and while we do reserve a small number of spaces for urgent cases, we do not have capacity to accommodate all urgent referrals. If your concerns are acute, we encourage you to continue discussing these with your GP, or to consider alternate care pathways to ensure timely support. If your child’s situation changes, your GP or referring provider is welcome to contact us with updated clinical information. We can not respond to all enquiries requesting urgent appointments - we will contact you if a space becomes available.
